In the summer of 1615, the whole Toyotomi family perished in Osaka Castle, but, Hideyori's wife Princess Sen, was miraculously helped by Sakazaki and his retainer Yuasa.
Princess Sens' grandfather, Ieyasu had promised to give a princess to those who saved the Princess. Therefore, Sakazaki asked for princess Sen strongly. However, Princess Sen disliked Sakazaki and resisted. In the end Sakazaki despaired and committed suicide. Sakazaki's retainer, Yuasa disappeared.
Princess Sen will marry Honda. However, Honda dies before marring. So sad princess will live in the Yoshida palace. Although Toyotomi's retainers try to kill her, Yuasa saves her. Princess Sen feels love for Yuasa, but she knows that he is Sakazaki's retainer.
Finally, the princess makes a decision to become a nun and Yuasa commits suicide because of the princess. He loves her.
